Training on Food and Meat Processing

It was a successful 3 day skills enhancement training on baking and meat processing which took place last August 8, 9 and 10 at the Food Technology Center of Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City. The goal of the training was to increase the trainees’ knowledge in food handling and also to encourage them to engage into food processing business. Sylvia Aguhob, head of the Food Technology Department of Xavier University, conducted the said training where she discussed the proper procedures on meat processing, baking and fresh juice preparation. The 70 micro loan beneficiaries who joined and completed the training were satisfied and excited to take home some of their finished products such as cookies, pies, and processed meat products.
